I've decided to active this now for members to use. You'll notice now that on your posts on the right hand side are + & -. These can be used to give or take away points for members posts that are either helpful or unhelpful. They count for 1 point either way.

Also next to the quote button there is a thanks button now. If you have asked a question and feel that someone has been very helpful and taken their time to provide you with a good answer, then please click this button. The value of this is 3 points.

I have seen this in place elsewhere...

only issue is now I am not very helpful.... I'd say I am more of a nagger / spammer!! Shocked

The thanks button will only show on threads that you have actually started thumbup

when you hit the thanks button it turns the post you thanked pink. it is very hard to read then.

Just thought I'd clarify the "Thanks" button Very Happy

The "Thanks" button can only be used on threads started by yourself, and you can only Thank one post in the thread. I thought I'd explain this as I've noticed a few threads where the "Thanks" button has been used after receiving one reply, and consequently posts that have, IMO, been far more helpful with the thread starters question cannot be "thanked".

Obviously it is up to the thread starter to decide who has answered their question the best thumbup
