oak leaves? Lol better luck next time.

They look like oak leaves to me. You just need to give them a good rinse off under the tap before putting them in. They should also release some tannins into your tank.

Can I ask you guys here then, is there a correct rule of thumb for adding such leaves? As heard of ph drops,is it dangerous to add too many?

i now only use oak leaves for my fish - gave up buying indian almond leaves

If you collect lots just leave them to dry in a warm room - keeping them seperated after washing and then just store them on a bag as you would the IAL

Cool I'll get some oak leaves next time, I just ordered Indian Almond Leaves on ebay but they will take 2-3 weeks to get here X__X I don't think I'll end up being able to wait that long, got the breeding tank set up, brine shrimp hatchery and only need a few more days of conditioning
