New little girl Twinkle Empty New little girl Twinkle

Post by Netty Mon 19 Oct 2009 - 12:43

This little lady came up for sale locally last week so we went to see her last night. She is nearly 5 months old and is registered with the UKAPHR. The guy starts a new job next week which means he'll be away from home most of the time so took the decision to rehome her. We just fell in love with her straight away. She's obviously been handled alot by him and his kids and she was so relaxed and happy.

So here is little Miss Twinkle exploring her new home.

Will defo just be sticking to two of them for the moment. Can't put them together Amy cos they will breed from 5months old and can be very quick at it too :lol!: Don't want any unplanned babies!!!

So they both have their own house. Bootsie has a Zoozone and Miss Twinkle has a 3ft viv with extra ventilation put in.

Aw that is fair enough and knowing how successful you are breeding your menagerie you really dont want to introduce them!

Well we were hoping to get another at some point but they all seem to be 100s of miles away so when she came up for sale and was just up the road from us we jumped at the chance of getting her.

I'd already checked her history out with the registry people and knew that she came from a good line so that went in her favour too :D Her dad was actually bred by the woman who runs the registry too.

Well I'm home all day so I consider this to be my job :lol!: If I was working there is no way we could have so many. It helps that some are only awake at night, so that spreads it all out over the day :D

To be honest the fish take up more time than all the others :lol!:
