Re: dragon VT ???????????
I'd say that the dragon on ebay is more Delta. Doesn't have the right shaped fins for a VT.

Re: dragon VT ???????????
I would have thought it was a delta as well, the caudal is pretty rounded and spans closer to the dorsal than a VT tail would , his body shape is also dubious, it might be the way the photo was taken but near the head it looks like there may be some deformity

Re: dragon VT ???????????
I sent the seller this question - hoping for a reply -
Can you tell me the genetics of this fish please - cos he doesn't look like a VT to me more like a delta tail ? - I would be interested in him but would need to know parentage - he's definately not very VT though

got a reply
Hello pippoodle,
To the best of my knowledge he is a Veil Tail.I have also asked a good friend of mine who also deals, imports and breeds bettas, and he reckons him to be a Veil Tail too.As for his parentage this is unknown, due to him being in a batch destined for retail.I specialise in Siamese Fighters and I mainly breed them for pleasure.I would say that looking at his colouring he is definatly from a good dragon line because he is 100% markings.
I hope this helps.

Re: dragon VT ???????????
he may just be an ugly bred fish. looks like extreamly poor delta breeding to me though.
