smug!

I went to a local fs this afternoon. Looking at the bettas and a couple were looking at the girls tank where I got Cammy the other day. I started talking to them and they were buying 3 as they had a male that was building a bubble nest. I told them nicely that breeding is not that easy but they had read up about it and would not be swayed. So I advised them the best I could. The chap who owns the shop then asked me to come and make sure they were all girls they were buying! One looked like a young male pk, so they left him. I was very smug because as I left the chap who was serving said she knows everything about bettas! :D
I did advise the couple to look for betta forums on the net so i hope the girls will be ok!

ps still cant find any peachy dalmation ones

Are you looking for a peachy coloured girl Liz or a boy? I know girls that colouring are really hard to find. The only place I've seen them was on aquabid!!

Good on you Liz, I'm forever telling people in my lfs about buying bettas, i even asked the manager not to sell to one person and he wouldn't lol, they weren't very impressed! Good luck with your hunt for the peach dalmation!!
