If you do persuade him...get one from a breeder...there are lots up your way that are registered with the UKAPH.
He's so cute though....sitting in his pouch on my lap right now and peering up out at me....probably wanting some more Mealies. He really loves them and snatches them so quick lol

Re: Bootsie is home..More pics 17.10.09
Just got some more cute pics of him tonight.
The blue pouch is the one he sleeps in and the furry one is his bonding pouch which goes round my neck so I can carry him around in the evenings and he gets used to me.

Re: Bootsie is home..More pics 17.10.09
They are both doing really well. Bootsie is old enough now for his running wheel and loves it. He's just started quilling so is a little more huffy than normal but soon calms down again once he's out.
Miss Twinkle is a little madam and just wants to be running around when she's out.....she's just too nosey for her own good
Will try to get some new pics of Bootsie but this is one I took the other night of Twinks, just about to go into her new pouch.

Re: Bootsie is home..More pics 17.10.09
Thanks Aly....I love her fleece cos it's the sofest I've ever felt.
The pouch I got from www.cavycouture.co.uk
Really lovely lady and very well made pouches etc. Think she does rabbit sized too if not then she probably would.
Those tubes are really good and very cheap so doesn't matter too much if they get munched. Bootsie has an expanding plastic one that I got for £4.00 and you can bend it into shapes and make it longer which you can't with the cardboard ones.
They also have a large inflatable paddling pool that they can have a really nice run around in without me worrying that they're going to get stuck behind things lol

Brilliant, They sound like they have a fabulous home!
Will check the website for some play activity things for Alfie, hes back indoors now, as its turning into winter, and boy, hes enjoying it!!!!! :D
That fleece thing looks good. He has that as a floor lining, which is ontop of an old rug, but he likes to dig that up and chew it aswell, so i have to keep buying new ones. LOL.

I love that pouch, it is all too cute! She is gorgeous! Can I ask Netty what does "quilling" mean? Does it mean they are hardening up? Jealous of both as they are super!

@Netty- LOL, ive never seen a decent fleece in the pound shop (i dont like tartan LOL) When ever im in the shopping centre, when it comes to fleeces i always wait for the sales too. Milo and Alfie go through fleeces like mad. I checked the website and the biggest pouch size they do is guinea pigs, might email them, good prices.
:D
@Amy- i think quilling means when they get there *points* out. This will explain further (very interesting!! :D http://www.hedgehogworld.com/content/view/40/42/ )

Re: Bootsie is home..More pics 17.10.09
where do you get those hedgehogs from .
The children cant have fluffy pets around cos of allergies so thats why we have a poodle cos they dont have fur they have hair or something like that .
Looks pretty and might look into one in the future for Lacy when she's older .
She's already really good at caring for the dog and helping with the fish so would like to know how easy they are to care for .
