Re: George my kitten
Thanks, I wanted to get a rescue cat but because we've already got 2 adult cats my dad said they'd get along better if he was a kitten.

Re: George my kitten
It really depends how much time your at home. We rescued Woolie (Sadly passed) Worth, Simba and Max (Sadly passed) As Adults. We have never had a problem. You get the occasionally hissing but after a few days that subsides. But I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't at home to supervise etc whilst they were settling down. Mine all get along like a house on fire now. Look below LOL

lol, that one on the far right looks exactly like my cat.
It was the summer holidays so we could've supervised, there was this beautiful chocolate coloured cat up for adoption, it looked more like a fox.

Yea, he can't get on top of the big tank downstairs because my other cat owns it.
She likes it up there because the lights make the top really warm.

Our cats are the same although much older. They ingore the fish but wrap themselves around or drape themselves over the tanks for the warmth LOL

Re: George my kitten
I've got 2 six year old cats and I used to have a 20 year old black long haired cat.
In the end he couldn't even jump up onto the sofa, he died peacefully over night in his bed.

Re: George my kitten
He's had all his vaccinations so he's aloud outside, but we think he's just too small. There are alot of big cats around that would rip him to shreds.
He's 16 weeks old and he weighs 1.7kg.

Yes I wouldn't let him out yet. He can easily get injured or stuck somewhere. I don't normally let mine outside until 6 months once they have been spayed/neutered

Re: George my kitten
Ok, got a pic of him sleeping, he is not asking for a belly rub he is actually in a deep sleep.
Looks like a dead rabbit. :lol!:
Also there are 2 pics of my other cats, they are twins.
The first one is Hollie, she had cat flu when she was younger and nearly died, her eye is always weeping and she sneezes alot.
The second one is Sally, she's one of those cats that meows until you give her some attention, she would let anyone pick her up.
They are both six years old but are very very small, they always get attacked by the other cats, so we are hoping George will put a stop to that when he is a big fluffball.

Re: George my kitten
Awwww they are all gorgeous and Hollie and Sally are almost identical to our two brother and sister cats Poppy & Casper
And you would just have to rub that fluffy belly whether he wanted it or not :lol!:

I rubbed it but he didn't even move a muscle, I saw the pictures of casper and poppy and they are both beautiful.

Re: George my kitten
Thanks....they are oldies now at 13...really starting to slow down!!!
LOL...he must be completely flaked out then. But they say if a cat or dog sleeps like that on their back, it means they feel totally safe and comfortable where they are, so he's obviously a very happy little boy

lol, he's now discovered he can get on top of the fish tank which just happens to be Sally's favourite spot. She wasn't very pleased about that.

Re: George my kitten
ok, sorry for a lack of pics.
George is now turning intio a mahossive fluffball, him and sally love each other now, always licking each other. He tries to chase sally now and then but only because he gets bored.
In 2 weeks time he is getting neutered and then he'll be allowed outside. He's got a blue collar and we bought him a harness so he can roam around the whole of the garden.
Here are a few pics.
